Junior Great Books Digital Classroom Features
In the summer of 2024, we implemented a significant upgrade to the digital classroom based on the valuable feedback from you and other users of JGBDC. This transition aims to prioritize textual content, facilitating students' engagement in first and second readings without interruptions. By placing the text at the forefront, we ensure students are thoroughly prepared for Shared Inquiry™ discussions.
However, these improvements are not limited to textual enhancements. Additional features have been integrated to enhance the learning experience for students, including:
- Tracked audio versions for easy follow-along.
- On-demand glossary definitions.
- Note-taking and highlighting functionalities integrated throughout the text.
- Free-response activity questions are designed to guide students through each stage of the Shared Inquiry process, thereby enhancing support and tracking of their thought process throughout the unit.
