Below, please find the terms and conditions for the Great Books Foundation when you place an order with us, including shipping, returns, tax exemption, and sales tax. The Great Books Foundation is a sole source provider.
Tax-exempt organizations in states that are subject to sales tax must contact customer service at customer.service@greatbooks.org or 800.222.5870 before placing an order. Canadian customers are responsible for any taxes and fees charged by Canadian customs.
For orders within the United States, shipping charges are 8.5% on material list prices with a minimum of $5.50 per order. Please allow seven to ten business days for delivery of orders shipped UPS Ground. UPS requires a street address for delivery, No P.O. boxes, please. Customers outside the United States must email customer service at customer.service@greatbooks.org or call 312.332.5870 to place their orders. All orders to APO or FPO addresses are sent via US Postal Service First Class at the standard shipping charge.
Returns: Customers must call 800.222.5870 for return authorization. Returns must be accompanied by a return authorization number, along with the original order number. Unauthorized returns will be refused. Returns by schools and bookstores must be authorized within 90 days of customer receipt. All other returns must be authorized within 30 days. Materials to be returned must be unopened and in resalable condition. A $3.00 restocking fee will be charged for each item returned.
Review of Orders Policy: Please review your orders within 30 days of receipt. Regrettably, we are unable to address reports of delivery errors after this timeframe.
Digital Classroom: We understand that customers may occasionally seek refunds for Junior Great Books Digital Classroom due to various reasons. Given the nature of digital products, once a license is activated, it cannot be returned to the Great Books Foundation. As a result, we are unable to provide refunds for activated licenses.

Your satisfaction is our priority, and we're committed to ensuring your enjoyment of the Junior Great Books Digital Classroom.
Changes to existing orders, including delivery or billing address changes, are subject to a $5.00 fee.
The law requires the Great Books Foundation to collect sales tax in Arizona, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington. Individuals cannot claim tax-exempt status. Only nonprofit organizations with a tax-exempt ID number can claim tax-exempt status. Schools in Arizona, California, North Carolina, and Washington are not tax-exempt and are therefore subject to sales tax.
The Great Books Foundation holds the copyright to all Great Books educational materials for grades K–12. We produce, print, sell, service, warehouse, and ship all our materials. Retail vendors, wholesalers, and resellers are not authorized to sell Great Books K–12 educational materials.
